Young Croatian innovators are preparing for the World Championship in South Korea, where they will tackle the global challenge focused on combating forest fires.
ISTRA TECH is proud to join the numerous sponsors and partners who have supported Centar Pozitron and the Croatian robotics national team in raising funds for the World Championship. Building on previous successful cooperation regarding the RobotIK competition, support has been gladly provided to this new global project.
By joining forces with colleagues from Ivanić-Grad within the Croatian Robotics Association, the official national organization FIRST Global Croatia has been established, and the newly formed Team Croatia 2026 is traveling to the FIRST Global Challenge in South Korea this October.
Following successful summer preparations at the Technology Center in Poreč, this year’s global challenge is dedicated to wildfire suppression through automation. This is a topic of exceptional importance for Croatia and the entire region, enabling these young talents not only to solve competitive tasks but also to develop applicable solutions for the real challenges of our environment.
