{"id":3239,"date":"2012-12-01T11:49:42","date_gmt":"2012-12-01T11:49:42","guid":{"rendered":"http:\/\/www.istratech.hr\/?p=3239"},"modified":"2021-07-13T07:38:08","modified_gmt":"2021-07-13T07:38:08","slug":"competitive-programming-in-java-and-eiffel","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/www.istratech.hr\/en\/competitive-programming-in-java-and-eiffel\/","title":{"rendered":"Concurrent programming in Java and Eiffel"},"content":{"rendered":"\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\" style=\"text-align:center\"><strong>ABSTRACT<\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">The paper presents some &#8220;old&#8221; concurrent programming techniques in Java, versions 1 to 4, and some newer techniques made possible by version 5, and further improved in versions 6 and 7. Unfortunately, concurrent programming is more difficult than usual sequential programming, but with the development of multi-core processors concurrent programming is becoming a necessity in daily work.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">There are some attempts (time will show if they are successful) to make concurrent programming easier.
