From February 27 to March 1, a large high school robotics competition will be held, in which twenty-four competitors and sixteen mentors will participate with as many as eight robots.
An interesting three-day competition is organized as part of the STEAMatica Histria project, in which students and teachers from 11 secondary schools in Istria and Primorje-Gorski Kotar County participate as competitors and organizers.
The project holders are the Center for Technological Development and STEM Education “Pozitron” and the Secondary School “Zvane Črnje” from Rovinj.
The Pozitron Association was created as an initiative of several enthusiasts with the desire to provide the highest quality education for children and young people in the fields of computing, robotics, 3D printing and programming.
The goal of the project is to gather as many schools as possible in the area of Istria and Kvarner in activities related to robotics. Some of the challenging tasks for the contestants will be creating an algorithm to solve the maze exit, robot design and robot football.
